He has been ridden english and western, and loves to be out on the trails competing in pace events.  He is mainly being ridden English and has had some training as a hunter, but is focusing on training level dressage at this time.  He has been used for some advanced youth lessons and intermediate/advanced adult riders.  He can become anxious if his rider is very nervous and becomes forward with an unbalanced rider, making him most suitable for an intermediate to advanced rider.

He has given lessons to advanced-beginners through advanced youth and adult riders.  He would be enjoyable for a small advanced-beginner/ intermediate adult or a confident intermediate to advanced youth rider.  He is ridden hunt seat and enjoys jumping, but due to his age only goes over small cross rails.  He is easy to ride bareback and has very comfortable gaits.  He’s taught a lot of riders how to trot independently and canter.
